Justice For BAILEY!!!!!

Please take the time to read this post and share it. Yesterday morning my family and I woke up with the healthiest, happiest dog in the world. This morning we woke up to a empty feeling and very sad house. Our family dog Bailey passed away last night suddenly due to a horrible situation. For those of you with animals, do not take them to K9 corners in Whitman. We took Bailey there yesterday to be groomed at 10 am. We are not sure where they had left him, whether it was in a small crate, outside in the hot sun, or a small hot room. But we do know that Bailey was left in a high temperature area for 3 hours, with no water, before they realized that Bailey wasn’t breathing. The owner then called my husband saying “you might want to come pick up your dog he isn’t breathing”. He was suffering a severe heat stroke. When Bailey arrived at the animal hospital he was unresponsive and had a high temperature of

108 degrees. It took many ice packs and cold water to bring his temperature down to 104 and then we took him to Weymouth animal hospital. The vets did everything possible for our dog but at this point his brain and other organs were already shutting down and our Bailey was suffering. He started having non stop seizures and the medicine was not helping him. We decided to let our dog go and stop suffering last night. Bottom line of this story was we had a amazing, playful, happy, healthy dog yesterday morning and due to K9 corners carelessness and cruelty of letting our dog suffer in hot temperatures for 3 hours with no water, we no longer have our dog with us anymore. If this owner was educated about anything about the business she was running, she would know that if a dog was suffering from heat stroke, spraying cold water on him would have helped bring his temperature down, and maybe he would have had a chance of surviving. I wanted to share this story so people know to not go to this place so nothing like this will ever happen again to someone else’s family pet. We love and miss you so much Bailey❤️
