My girls
My kitties have just become so much more social and playful since we moved here. It scares me because they keep crossing the street so I try to get them to stay in back of the house. Did u know a cat considers a two mile radius to be there boundaries! !!! Two miles. Wow! I don’t want them to leave our one acre. I have been looking into ways to keep them away from the road but whatever I do they can just go around it!!

Stainless steel sinks
Wish I remembered to take a before shot, my sink was covered in drywall mud, paint, sawdust, it was awful and I could not see it as a cleaning tool!! Now I don’t use chemicals as much as possible so I took out my vinegar and baking soda.
Put in the plug, dusted it all over with powder and poured just enough vinegar in to make a paste with. As you scrub with it you can see it turns brown if the sink was bad like mine anyway. I hate that sticky type feeling stainless sinks gets on the sides. You can let it set if u need it to get through like on paint, or just scrub. I use my hands but u could use whatever u want. After just rinse repeat if u need to for spots u may have missed.
Just a cheap, quick and non chemical alternative.

Never will I be ready to watch you leave. The day you arrived was the day my life truly began. Never could I have imagined my boy would grow to such a wonderful young man, never because I doubted you but in doubt of myself. I am so proud of my son. At 19 he has the next 12 years planned out. God willing they will go as such, I loved having him home with us for the 4th and as usual breaks my heart when he leaves. My son, pre-med.

Time flies
Moving time is here. My poor man is exhausted. It’s been a push everyday to get it all done. We ended up having to hire a couple guys to move all the big stuff into the uhaul but my son and my fiance had to unload themselves.
I haven’t been posting much as I been running and moving but things will get back on track after this weekend and I will post more and more pictures from the renovation and more about, well, everything!! Having a wedding in October, wow! Need to do that stuff. Assassin’s. Lol. See u soon.

The one above is the dining room and then we found under two layers of linoleum and base flooring wood a beautiful kitchen floor!!!
Vinager stained floor
I haven’t been on much lately with the house remodeling but will share our new living room floor!!!!
David put down pine plank boards and I made a vinegar and steel wool stain. We sanded, stained,did a second coat of stain and then poly sealed it. What do you think????

When I was younger, my mother gave our family everything we wanted whether or not she could afford it. Some people out there don’t have that same luxury, some don’t have enough money to put food on the table for their families or to give their children nice things. It’s unfortunate that allot more suffer from this than me or anyone should feel comfortable with. I want to dedicate my birthday to giving back to others, to helping people who can’t help themselves, we all have the opportunity to change somebody’s life and all it takes is a small donation of $20.
