Haven’t actually written a post for a bit with my head all over the place!
The house,
The therapist for my son and my step son thinks it would be too much on them, to do the house this year. Wait, what!!! Does it make me horrible to think they can handle going with out the internet and bedrooms for at most a month?? This currently is no different than summer, they don’t do anything different so why is the virus and stress with step sons crazy mom different now than what it would be normally? David agrees and I’m out voted I guess. Now the plan is to do the garage first so then the boys can stay in the rooms above the garage while the house is being done and still have their coping tool.
We are doing a 3 bay so there is one for our wood shop. We are using Cheyenne for the most part, just the third door will be a smaller size.
We had a friend lend us his box truck to put the house stuff in but now we are putting the stuff from the garage in it and will put the house stuff in the garage when time comes. David tried to say we could get both done this year if we had time but I know that won’t happen. It sucks that we can’t do any part of the house until we do the whole thing. The second floor is being taken off and rebuilt, the stairs are moving and we are putting an addition on. It all goes together.
I am a style and decorate person and currently there is not one room in my house done! None! It drives me crazy that I can’t decorate or put up pictures or anything.

My beautiful little niece lives in Avon Connecticut and her class is doing a project to see if they can collect postcards from around the world!! Anyone willing to send a postcard from home would be majorly appreciated and shared on my page. Used ones can just be written on or new is good as well. Apparently this has been a month going and they have only a few from other states so I’m calling for help!!!
Send the to Tracey Bernier

And I will forward them to my niece!!!
One small thing will help a child and classmates accomplish a great project!!!!
Thank you 🙏
We bought our house March 2017 and since then we have redone all the floors, took out a wall separating the living room and dining room, put an 6 foot bay window in, reinsulated most of the outside walls with new windows all well, made the porch into a sun porch, tore out the whole kitchen and started it over. We had to cut out ceilings in the stairways for my 6 foot son to not hit his head, lol, and bunch of other things. The main problem besides the plaster is the ceiling upstairs starts at 4 feet on one wall and gets to 7 at the other, both sides of the house, very bad for my back!!! , so we said we had to fix it.
We finally started the process,

We drew up the first set of plans yesterday and decided besides tearing off the whole roof we are also putting in a small addition to make it a completed straight four walls.
The finished house will be 30 x 32 and it will all be usable space!!!

It’s almost finished, we put on the deck and roof then the rocks around the doors, so now to put the railings back on and a new light. I love it. I also love that most of this was free or bought really cheap!! Recycling and up cycling supplies has saved us soooo much money!!!

Ten Amazing Wine Racks Made From Recycled Things

This is our now , Sun porch. We changed out the regular door with a set we bought used and put 2 of them here. If necessary the second door will open but only if it has to be. The third ” door” we turned into a window on the opposite wall that originally had nothing. That does not move. Lol then we took out all the ceiling boards and found just lots of just waste so took it all out and insulated ceiling. It adds about a foot of extra space on one side but makes a huge difference. Now I need to get something to cover them up when it gets really hot but it helped with oil this past winter!!!
