As we are building a new bathroom we needed a bigger vanity. I hate paying top dollar for new things. I can’t help it, I’m cheap, we found one online for a good price but it had a tan marbled top. That wasn’t going to work so I looked up how to change that.
I decided to paint it. I did a lot of reading and research, then I jumped in!
I had to rough it up just enough to take the shine off so the paint could stick. Then you need to clean it up really good! Shake the can like crazy and do short quick bursts. I did about 4 coats, waiting between 15 to 30 min in between like the can said. This is the finished results, after it sits for 24 hours and with more light, I will show another picture but it looks great!
I am a woman of many thoughts and ideas on anything creative, upcycling or frugal, love to take pictures especially of nature and my grandkids all while I fight the good fight of illness both mental and physical. I appreciate friendly criticism and love comments!!! So, don't be shy, talk to me...
